We're Lena and Alexander, a couple who chose a life of meaningful connections, caring for precious homes and animals that never fail to steal our hearts.
Home is wherever we are.
We've been house sitting full-time for three years in the United States, and internationally before that, across Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, and England. Every sit has been a chapter: new animals, new places, new people.
We both work remotely with flexible schedules, which means we're home almost all day. We love cooking homemade meals, hiking, and watching movies curled up with animals.
We treat every home with care and appreciation, always leaving it exactly as we found it — or better. The trust people place in us is something we never take for granted. If time allows, we enjoy sharing a meal with homeowners before they leave.

Raised on a farm. Formally trained.
Alexander grew up on a cattle farm in Germany, feeding animals and learning the rhythms of livestock from childhood.
He holds a double Master of Science in Agriculture with a focus on Animal Husbandry, and Environmental Science. Over 20 years of hands-on experience with cattle, sheep, chickens, and more.
Alexander brings German precision and reliability to everything, from farm routines to home security systems. Fluent in German and English, basic in Spanish.
Grew up with cats. Always cared.
Lena grew up in Taiwan and the U.S. in a cat-loving family. She adopted her own tabby cat in high school and cared for her through college. Animals have always been part of her life.
She has since lived across Asia, Europe, and North America, moving between different cultures, homes, and routines. Outside of house sitting, Lena writes and performs folk music inspired by nature, quiet places, and what makes a place feel like home.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, conversational in German.
